Who We Are

The GEEP is governed by an Executive Committee, Advisory Group, and Secretariat.

  • The Executive Committee works to develop strategic direction for the initiative, in consultation with the Advisory Group.
  • The Advisory Group provides direction for the GEEP leadership team on matters related to its management and operation.
  • The North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE) serves as the Secretariat for the GEEP, and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program, as well as serving as a member of the leadership team.

Professor Chang Tzu-Chau got his PhD in Science Education from Cornell University, and served as the executive secretary of the Environmental Protection Division of the Ministry of Education of Taiwan to coordinate national environmental education programs in 2008-2012.
