Established in 2022, GEEP Africa serves as a strong multi-layered platform to enable interaction and sharing of knowledge and experiences related to environmental education and education for sustainable development (ESD) among environmentalists, EE/ESD practitioners, teachers, researchers, academia, policymakers, and communities.

The Asia-Pacific Regional Center (APRC), established in 2019 with the assistance of the Taiwan Ministry of Environment, provides an environmental education framework for sustainable development and a learning network for the region.
