Presenting the 2024 YIC Awardees!

Join us in congratulating the  2024 Youth Innovation Challenge (YIC) winners Axell, Brigitta and Gabriella, Krishna Pentayah & Team, and all of our finalists! 

In partnership with the Taiwan Ocean Conservation Administration (OCA), GEEP invited young people to apply for the 2024 Youth Innovation Challenge (YIC): Advancing Marine Conservation! The YIC provides an opportunity for young people ages 15–30 around the world to share their innovative solutions to protect marine resources. 

The winners and finalists represent 10 different countries and their innovative solutions to advancing marine conservation range from using virtual dives to make experiencing marine ecosystems more accessible to a toolkit of practical strategies and educational resources to help the maritime industry reduce it's carbon emissions.

The Youth Innovation Challenge is a program of the Global Environmental Education Partnership (GEEP) in partnership with the Taiwan Ocean Conservation Administration (OCA). GEEP is a partnership between the US Environmental Protection Agency, the Taiwan Ministry of Environment, and the North American Association for Environmental Education.
