GEEP Asia-Pacific Regional Center

The Asia-Pacific Regional Center (APRC) is located in Taiwan and launched with the assistance of the Taiwan Ministry of Environment (formerly the Environmental Protection Administration of Taiwan) and the Global Environmental Education Partnership (GEEP) in 2019. The APRC aims for environmental education idea sharing and interactive action, as well as supporting education for sustainable development (ESD) for Asia-Pacific area countries.

As a hub of Asia-Pacific Environmental Education, the APRC has the following objectives:

  • Provide an EE framework for enhancing public awareness and participatory action for sustainable development for Asia-Pacific region.
  • Network the existing regional networks to accelerate the effectiveness of interaction actions for Asia-Pacific region.
