Cade Emory Terada is a Japanese American from Dutch Harbor, Alaska. His hometown happens to be the number one fishing port in the nation by volume and is heavily impacted by ocean acidification as well as climate change. While Cade has worked in many areas of advocacy for the environment, his main point of focus is the Arctic region and the issue of ocean acidification.

Cade served alongside 22 Alaskans as an Arctic Youth Ambassador during the US Chairmanship of the Arctic Council and advocated for Alaskans as well as his community on Arctic issues. During his term as an ambassador he was given the opportunity to speak at various conferences across the nation, was the recipient of the 2017 Ocean Youth Award, and participated in a two week expedition through the Canadian and Greenlandic Arctic. He was also welcomed to DC to speak at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History and was welcomed as a panelist for the world's largest Earth Day event in Dallas, Texas. Currently, Cade is a board member for One More Generation as well as a member of the public policy working group of the International Student Environmental Coalition (ISEC). Cade attends Green Mountain College and is preparing to be part of a delegation for COP 23 in Bonn Germany.
